Orangatang Stimulus 70mm Longboard Wheels

The Orangatang Stimulus is a 70mm freeride wheel that balances grip and controlled slides. Its 49mm width, 42mm contact patch and offset bearing seat give it a substantial footprint without the ride height of a larger wheel, while the rounded lips and stone-ground surface make slides easier to initiate and more consistent right out of the box.

The 70mm diameter keeps the wheel quick to accelerate while still providing useful roll over everyday pavement. The offset core lets the outer lip flex into the road for grip, while the relatively wide contact patch provides stability through turns. Combined with Happy Thane urethane, the result is a smooth, predictable wheel that works well for freeride, freestyle, dancing, tricks and commuting.

Choosing Your Durometer

Orangatang's durometers let you fine-tune the balance of grip, comfort and slide. Even the firmest option is still soft compared with a typical street skateboard wheel.

• 77a Blue: Super soft, with maximum grip and comfort.
• 80a Orange: Soft and balanced, with a good mix of grip, comfort and slide.
• 83a Pink: A little firmer and more responsive, with easier slide initiation.
• 86a Yellow: The firmest option, with a more direct feel and easier slides on smoother pavement.
