Orangatang Beefcake 73mm Longboard Wheels

The Orangatang Beefcake is a 73mm freeride wheel built for smooth, predictable slides. Its rounded lips, stone-ground contact patch and centerset core are designed to make slide initiation easy while keeping the release consistent.

The 73mm diameter gives the Beefcake more roll speed and rollover than a smaller freeride wheel, while the 31mm contact patch keeps the footprint manageable for sliding. The rounded, stone-ground lips help the wheel release without catching, and the centerset core lets you flip the wheels to even out wear over time.

Poured in Orangatang's Happy Thane® formula, the Beefcake combines the smooth ride and traction associated with softer urethane with a shape intended for high-speed freeride and technical sliding.

Choosing Your Durometer

Orangatang's durometers let you fine-tune the balance of grip, comfort and slide. Even the firmer options are still soft compared with a typical street skateboard wheel.

• 80a Orange: Soft and grippy, with more comfort and traction on rougher pavement.
• 83a Purple/Pink: Firmer and more slide-friendly, with a balance of grip and easier release.
• 86a Yellow: The firmest option, with a more direct feel and easier slides on smoother pavement.
